Cynthia Gerothanasiou is a visual artist, born in Thessaloniki.
She received a Master's Degree in Audiovisual Arts, Department of Audio and Visual Arts, Ionian University of Corfu. She studied at the School of Fine Arts, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.She has a number of solo and group exhibitions to her credit.
The fragility and harshness, the psychodynamic field of the social subject and the unseen processes of its evolution, are aspects that the artist explores, using a variety of materials and multiple expressive media. She has held several group and solo presentations in Greece as well as abroad, while her work has received international awards and distinctions and is part of private and public collections.
