Subtle gradations and shades of ubiquitous gold metallic paint, shiny and domed forms with soft passages worked in painting, with gestures that ritually follow verticality with repetitiveness. With reference to the spirituality of the golden Byzantine plain and the poetry of the imperceptible, the economy of the work is explored. As light is captured in allusive metallic reliefs, it is now reflected iridescently and invites a space of mental and spiritual rest, a condition reinforced by the scale of the work.
